Hyderabad has become a major player in corporate growth,with 39 companies from Telangana now among India's top 500 private firms by value. Compiled by Axis Bank's Burgundy Private and Hurun India,the list shows region's businesses gaining ground,led by Divi's Laboratories with a valuation of ₹1.7 lakh crore.

Report shows sharp jump from just nine companies in 2021. After Divi's, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories ranks second at ₹1.1 lakh crore,followed by Megha Engineering & Infrastructures at ₹83,800 crore . Aurobindo Pharma and new entrant Greenko round out top five, valued at ₹80,710 crore and ₹71,100 crore, respectively.

Laurus Labs has climbed four spots to sixth with ₹59,440 crore. Others in top ten include Premier Energies at ₹46,130 crore,MSN Laboratories at ₹34,770 crore, Hetero Labs at ₹33,850 crore, and Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences at ₹26,680 crore .

Value of these 39 companies has surged 75% since 2021,jumping from ₹5.2 lakh crore to over ₹12 lakh crore. That's an average increase of ₹283 crore per day over five years. Hyderabad's influence grows.

Anas Rahman Junaid, founder and chief researcher of Hurun India,says Telangana's ecosystem boosts investment, jobs,and economic growth . Hyderabad's role in national business is undeniable.

Healthcare dominates with 16 companies from Telangana. Aerospace and defense sectors add five,while industrial products and automobile industry each contribute three. Sales have jumped 47% since 2021, reaching ₹2.6 lakh crore .

Job numbers tell same story,with workforce among listed companies up 70% to 3.4 lakh people. Leading in women's employment,Dr. Reddy's Laboratories has 8,480 women,followed by MedPlus Health Services with 8,143 and Rainbow Children's Medicare with 3,427.
