Ansiba Hassan, a well-known figure in Malayalam film industry and former joint secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA), is set to meet with the Kadavanthra police on Tuesday. This meeting is part of an ongoing preliminary investigation linked to a complaint she filed against actor Tini Tom, who allegedly made communal remarks and derogatory comments about her .
The complaint,initially lodged with the Infopark police, has since been transferred to the Kadavanthra station for further inquiry . This incident marks another chapter in Hassan's recent legal battles, as she previously reported a separate case against AMMA vice-president Lakshmi Priya. In that instance,Hassan accused Priya of orchestrating a fabricated case against her,which was filed at the Thripunithura Women’s Police Station.
In her earlier complaint,Hassan also named a sub-inspector from the same station,alleging that officer subjected her to three hours of harassment regarding the purportedly false case. unfolding situation highlights the complexities and tensions within the Malayalam film community,as Hassan navigates these serious allegations against her peers .
