Air India Express plans direct flights between Navi Mumbai International Airport and Abu Dhabi, marking first international service from Maharashtra's newest airport. Flights begin 15 July 2026,giving Mumbai Metropolitan Region residents another travel option, boosting links between India's financial hub and UAE's capital.
Route starts with two flights a week, jumping to three from 29 July 2026. This will expand Air India Express operations, totaling 30 weekly flights from Navi Mumbai, including connections to Bengaluru and Delhi.
With this move,Air India Express cements its Maharashtra foothold, already running over 95 weekly flights from Mumbai,more than 100 from Pune,and 14 from Nagpur. The airline runs one of largest networks connecting India to West Asia,linking Indian cities with Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman,Qatar,Saudi Arabia,and UAE.
