BeOne Medicines is set to showcase its rapidly advancing solid tumor portfolio at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026, which will be held from October 23-27 in Madrid. The company will present data from four key programs, including the GPC3x4-1BB bispecific antibody and a CEA-targeting ADC, highlighting its innovative approach to oncology.
Among the highlights is a late-breaking rapid oral presentation on TEVIMBRA, BeOne's cornerstone asset, in combination with ZIIHERA for treating HER2+ gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma. This combination therapy is part of a broader effort to expand the evidence base for TEVIMBRA across lung and gastrointestinal cancers.
Dr. Mark Lanasa, Chief Medical Officer for Solid Tumors at BeOne, emphasized the significance of 2026 as a pivotal year for the company's solid tumor portfolio. He noted that the presentations at ESMO reflect the progress made in advancing their priority programs towards pivotal development stages, particularly in breast, lung, and gastrointestinal cancers.
Key Presentations at ESMO
BeOne's presence at ESMO will include several important presentations:
- An oral proffered paper on the GPC3x4-1BB bispecific antibody, currently under study for hepatocellular carcinoma.
- First-in-human data for a CEA-targeting ADC in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and a brain-penetrant PRMT5 inhibitor in MTAP-deleted tumors.
- A trial-in-progress abstract for the CDK4 inhibitor KANDELA-302 in metastatic HR+/HER2-negative breast cancer.
In addition to these, seven abstracts will further explore TEVIMBRA's efficacy in lung and gastrointestinal cancers, including new data from the Phase 3 HERIZON-GEA-01 trial.
BeOne's pipeline is characterized by its rapid development and strategic focus on three disease areas: breast, lung, and gastrointestinal cancers. This approach is supported by a robust body of evidence for TEVIMBRA.
TEVIMBRA, a humanized IgG4 anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody, is designed to enhance the immune system's ability to detect and combat tumors.
The company's collaboration with Jazz Pharmaceuticals and Zymeworks for the development of ZIIHERA, a bispecific HER2-directed antibody, further strengthens its position in the oncology field. ZIIHERA has been approved in China for biliary tract cancer and has received accelerated approval in the U. S. and conditional marketing authorization in the EU.
BeOne's strategic focus and rapid advancement of its solid tumor pipeline underscore its commitment to transforming cancer treatment. The upcoming presentations at ESMO are expected to reinforce the company's position as a leader in oncology innovation.
