Adinarayana Reddy,government whip and BJP MLA, slammed YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) for what he called misleading claims about JSW steel plant in his Jammalamadugu constituency,Kadapa district. His comments came during media briefing in Tirupati on Saturday. He took aim at statements by Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy,who claimed previous YSRCP government was key in securing permissions for project.

Adinarayana Reddy shot down these claims,saying statutory approvals came only after NDA government took office. He accused YSRCP of just laying foundation stones at sites without real progress. “The deceptive ‘bhumi puja’ events were also aimed at hoodwinking public,playing with sentiments of people of Kadapa district,” he charged.
