Canadian aerospace manufacturer Firan Technology Group (FTG) has launched its first manufacturing facility in India . It's at GMR Aerospace and Industrial Park in Hyderabad. The inauguration happened Monday, marking FTG's entry into Indian market with operations also in Canada,US,and China.

The facility,developed by GMR Hyderabad Aviation SEZ Limited,is a Built-to-Suit (BTS) site within 277-acre aerospace park . It will produce advanced avionics and cockpit interface electronics for international OEMs in aerospace and defense.

FTG setting up in Hyderabad is seen as a big step in fostering competitive aerospace manufacturing in India. Aman Kapoor,CEO of GMR Airport Land Development,said the company's presence will boost both domestic and export supply chains while promoting indigenization. Hyderabad's status as aerospace innovation hub grows stronger.
