Dipke is set to arrive Saturday morning and has invited supporters to meet him at the airport. After landing,he plans to head to Parliament Street police station to get permission for protest, encouraging attendees to join him: “Let’s unite at the airport and proceed to the police station together.”
What started as a social media movement, the Cockroach Janta Party has quickly drawn in younger voters, building a large following . As Dipke’s call to action unfolds, worries are rising about cybercriminals targeting Gen Z amid the party's growing visibility.
With over 1.2 million followers, the party's rapid growth shows a jump in youth engagement in political issues, especially around education. As protest date nears, attention will focus on the government’s role in addressing students' concerns.
