Gazprom aims to launch Belogorsk-Khabarovsk gas pipeline in 2026, marking big step for its Eastern Gas Supply System megaproject. CEO Alexey Miller revealed this during annual shareholders meeting, stressing pipeline's link between existing Power of Siberia and Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok pipelines.
This Belogorsk-Khabarovsk line kicks off broader effort to improve gas flow across Russia . Miller said it will connect gas infrastructure between west and east. It's more than just linking areas; it will increase gasification of Eastern Siberia and Far East, driving economic growth there .
And the pipeline should boost gas exports to China, cementing Gazprom's role in Asian energy market. Miller emphasized projects in East are key for regional development, creating new chances for local economies and trade.
