Russia's Krasnoyarsk Region is set to auction a subsoil plot rich in gold and silver reserves,with a starting bid of 286.7 million rubles ($3.68 million). Ivanovsky subsoil plot, covering an area of 4.55 square kilometers, is located in the Kuraginsky Municipal District . auction is scheduled for 2026, as announced by the regional Department of Subsoil Use for the Central Siberian District, known as Tsentrsibnedra.
Interested parties must submit their applications by August 13,with auction results expected to be revealed on August 27. The successful bidder will gain rights to conduct geological exploration, prospecting, and mineral extraction for a period of 25 years, beginning from the date the license is officially registered.
The auction materials indicate that the Ivanovsky plot holds significant reserves of lode gold and silver,making it attractive opportunity for mining companies. This initiative reflects ongoing efforts to tap into the region's mineral wealth, as Russia continues to explore and develop its natural resources.
