The government plans to hire 238 doctors to tackle staffing shortages in hospitals run by the Directorate of Secondary Health (DSH). Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav approved the move to strengthen healthcare services at Community Health Centres (CHCs),Area Hospitals,and District Hospitals.
After talks with K.V.N . Chakradhar Babu,the Director of Secondary Health,Yadav confirmed the doctors will work on one-year contracts. A press release stated District Selection Committees (DSCs),guided by District Collectors, will handle the recruitment process.
This initiative shows the government's push to improve healthcare access in region. The new hires should fill urgent staffing gaps,helping hospitals serve their communities better. These positions aim to enhance patient care and meet the healthcare system's pressing demands .
