On July 4, trouble hit a passenger plane flying from Istanbul to Mineralnye Vody in southern Russia not long after takeoff. Plane left Istanbul Airport,climbing to nearly 10,000 meters over Black Sea in Turkish airspace.
But soon after,reports showed the aircraft started descending and turned back. Flight trackers noted it was at about 3,000 meters heading back. Technical problems on board triggered the emergency.
