Newly opened Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Centre in Nandyal targets rural youth,offering vocational training,financial support for self-employment. On June 17,2026,District Collector Rajakumari Ganiya and Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari cut the ribbon at the Kranthinagar location,stressing its potential to change job prospects for young people here.
At the opening,Ganiya talked up the centre's role fighting rural unemployment. Urged local youth to grab training chances RSETI offers,under Union Bank of India. “Main goal is guiding youth to self-employment,financial independence,” she said,noting training aligns with current market needs.
Shabari agreed, saying RSETI's mission is free vocational training with bank loan help . She was optimistic the centre would benefit youth and women,creating financial empowerment. “We want trained folks not just seeking jobs but becoming entrepreneurs creating opportunities for others,” she said.
D. Anil Kumar, regional head of Union Bank,affirmed commitment to economic upliftment of marginalized. Said Nandyal RSETI focuses on skill training for farmers,women,Self-Help Groups (SHGs),aiming to boost their financial independence.
