Concerns over AI-generated content run deep among Russians. A recent survey shows nearly half uneasy about its rise. The Russian Znanie Society conducted this nationwide phone survey from June 18 to June 26 . It included 1,600 participants. Results show a split: 47% worried about AI-generated videos,photos,texts.
Fraud tops list of fears for 29% of respondents. And 5% worry AI tech could sway public opinion politically. But 49% don't see it as a real threat. This shows a clear divide. Dmitry Rybalchenko,First Deputy Director General of the Znanie Society,called for better digital literacy to help people tackle these issues with more confidence .
Demographic trends also emerged. Men are less worried,with 53% saying AI-generated content doesn't bother them. Young adults 18-24 are similarly unfazed; 57% aren't concerned about tech's implications. The survey's margin of error is 2.44% with a 95% confidence level…
