Authorities broke up alleged sex trafficking ring in West Bengal's Uttar Dinajpur district Saturday,rescuing 17 minors. It was a coordinated operation . Four arrests made,said police officials.
Girls rescued,aged 11-17,include 13 from Bihar,three from West Bengal,one from Assam. Operation kicked off based on solid intelligence. Drones kept watch during raid in Islampur police station area.
Swift law enforcement action ensured safe recovery of minors. After rescue,girls presented to Child Welfare Committee (CWC),then moved to government shelter homes post-counseling .
