Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has reached out to Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy to tackle issues still hanging over Hyderabad Metro Rail project. In letter dated Saturday, he asked Kishan Reddy to set up meeting with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw during his New Delhi visit on June 22,23.
This meeting is key,said Chief Minister,to discuss major matters like Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II,proposed takeover plan,financing with Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC). Reddy plans to bring crucial documents,Metro takeover proposal,loan agreements with IRFC,to the meeting.
In his letter,Reddy stressed urgency,urging Kishan Reddy to quickly arrange meeting,then inform state government of schedule. He mentioned earlier letter from June 16,where he detailed several unresolved Metro project issues needing central government's immediate attention.
