In Karnah and Tangdhar, remote regions along the Line of Control, the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation (RNAF) is boosting education for kids. Years of instability and tough geography have held these border areas back. Now,RNAF is setting up educational and skill centers in underserved villages and madrasas, giving children modern digital literacy and practical skills needed for financial independence .

At Madrasa Islamia Rozat-us-Salahat in Bagballa, Karnah, RNAF opened a Computer Centre and Skill Development Centre for girls . Here, students learn digital tools and get vocational training like tailoring. This approach builds confidence,self-reliance,and entrepreneurship among young women. Similar plans are in the works for Amrui Girls Madrasa in Tangdhar, blending vocational programs with computer education .

Meanwhile, boys at Baba Shah Hamidan Madrasa in Tangdhar are introduced to tech These centers are equipped with computers and software covering basic literacy, typing, internet navigation, and digital re RNAF's standout achievement is Amrui's first-ever Computer Lab,opening digital learning doors for local kids, a beacon of hope and inclusion .

“For a young girl in remote village, technology is more than a learning tool; it is confidence to realize her voice matters and her mind is boundless,” said Rouble Nagi, Founder and Chairperson of RNAF. “If we expect her to lift up her community,we must refuse to let geography dictate her limits. True digital inclusion ensures she has a seat at the table to shape her own destiny.”

Nagi stressed the role of modern education in using digital tools for fair and relevant learning . She said,“We’ll keep investing in teachers, infrastructure, and tech because I believe education is the strongest anti-poverty tool. Our students are talented, capable and deserve every chance. With support, they can compete globally and thrive in a tech-driven world.”

These efforts often get help from the Indian Army, part of RNAF’s wider work in Kupwara district’s border areas. The foundation is expanding computer and skill centers in Tangdhar and Karnah, with more planned in nearby villages. These programs are vital for girls in remote communities, where economic independence has been scarce.

By giving young women employable skills,RNAF aims to grow a generation that contributes meaningfully to families, communities, and the economy. Digital literacy helps students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, crucial for higher education and modern workforce. Vocational training, especially in tailoring, offers sustainable livelihood paths .

Locals have hailed these centers as historic milestones, bringing modern facilities to long-deprived areas . Through its ongoing work along India’s frontiers, RNAF is committed to ensuring kids and youth in these regions get opportunities like their peers elsewhere. By integrating education, digital learning, and vocational training, RNAF isn't just transforming classrooms; it's reshaping futures in Karnah and Tangdhar.
