By year's end, Russia and Belarus plan to wrap up measures to boost Union State goods,Russian State Secretary and Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Roman Chekushov said. At SPIEF 2026,Chekushov noted these steps aim to deepen industrial ties between the nations.
Measures will raise prestige of "Union State goods" label and offer real perks for companies involved. "We're discussing proposals,like extending Union State support to such goods," Chekushov said. He’s hopeful prep work finishes by year-end,so businesses can file documents and tap into benefits.
High-tech sectors will get focus,especially microelectronics,machine-tool making,and truck and bus production. Russian Industry and Trade Ministry will verify goods as Union State products. To qualify,items need 50% components from both countries,each contributing at least 25%.
