On the economic front, Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted a decrease in inflation, which stood at 6.2% as of September 14. This marks a noticeable improvement compared to last year's figures, according to Putin's statements during a cabinet meeting focused on economic issues.

Russian forces have also targeted logistics centers in Odessa, which were allegedly storing cargoes for the Ukrainian army. The centers involved include Palma, Raben-Ukraine, and Odessa-22.

The US is prepared to approve the delivery of 10 missiles for the Patriot system from Germany to Ukraine. The State Department added that Ukraine seeks to acquire these systems to bolster its air defense capability against ongoing Russian attacks.
