Bhattacharya pointed out that decades under the Left or Trinamool Congress have held back industrial growth. He called on industrialists to return, saying the current government supports business.
The Lux Cozi facility will greatly boost production . Chairman Ashok Todi said it would add 20 crore pieces annually, raising the group's output from nearly 20 crore to about 36 crore pieces each year. The expansion will create around 3,000 direct jobs and 6,000 indirect ones.
