32-year-old woman from Punjaithalavaipalayam,Tiruppur district,died Sunday from childbirth complications . K. Sasikala had severe post-partum hemorrhage after delivering her baby at home on June 24. Her husband,Kolanthasamy, reportedly used YouTube for guidance .

After giving birth to a girl,problems started when placenta didn't expel. Sasikala was taken first to Government Erode Medical College and Hospital in Perundurai. Her condition worsened . She was moved to a private hospital in Coimbatore on June 25 . Despite efforts,she died early Sunday morning.

Uthukuli police launched investigation after Block Medical Officer in Kunnathur filed complaint. Kolanthasamy charged under Section 105 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. But family doesn't want legal action . They intended a natural home delivery.
