Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) will unveil its VK-800 aircraft engine at Innoprom-2026 in Yekaterinburg. Built by UZGA,it's considered a big step for Russian aviation.
VK-800 will be displayed alongside model of UTS-800 training aircraft,set for flight tests with VK-800SP engine variant. All happening at Sverdlovsk Region's joint stand during exhibition.
Preparations are in full swing,with UZGA specialists coordinating with Aviation Register of Russia and State Research Institute of Civil Aviation. They've launched 150-hour certification tests for VK-800 engine, pushing it hard to test reliability,performance,stability under near-real conditions.
Zgirovskaya emphasized VK-800SP, SM, and S1 engines' importance for Russian general aviation . She noted these engines boost tech independence and link remote areas,opening new transport routes across country. Domestic production guarantees reliable supply chains,quality maintenance, strong safety for users.
