With 22 lakh students facing NEET re-exam, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan urged them to stay confident,not anxious. He spoke at yoga event at Delhi University, aligning with International Day of Yoga .
Pradhan trusts National Testing Agency (NTA) and those handling exam process. He emphasized mental well-being, urging public not to jeopardize students' futures. "Please do not play with future of India's new generation," he said,calling for supportive environment as exam day nears.
The re-exam follows NEET-UG 2026 cancellation on May 3 over paper leak claims, triggering a Central Bureau of Investigation probe. NTA issued new directives: candidates must get new admit cards as old ones are void.
On social media,NTA reminded candidates to arrive early; gates close 1:30 PM. Students need essential docs: admit card,photo ID,two passport photos. Agency warned against banned items,urged hydration.
Despite reminders,some candidates hadn't downloaded new admit cards by night before exam. "It is observed that some candidates have not yet downloaded their Admit Cards as of 7 PM on June 20,2026," agency noted, sending cards
Pradhan also spoke on pending results for 17 lakh students from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), saying about 15.5 lakh results were already out. He promised revaluation results soon .
