Thirty-two people in Dugguduru village, Kajuluru mandal,Kakinada district,are on mend after getting diarrhoea from snacks sold by local vendor . health scare erupted June 28, right after they ate the food, leading to swift medical intervention.
Dr. K. Narasimha Naik,District Medical and Health Officer,said Monday the patients are stable,getting care at Dugguduru Primary Health Centre. “The 32 patients are out of danger and are being treated,” he assured, calming the community's worries .
Officials responded by launching survey in village to gauge situation. Medical and Health Services,with Food Safety officials,have collected food samples from vendor tied to outbreak. Aim is to ensure food safety,stop future cases.
