Ravindra slammed previous YSRCP administration,claiming it left mining sector in tatters. Growth rate nosedived from 24% under TDP (2014-2019) to just 7% with YSRCP. He accused former regime of poor management and rampant illegal sand extraction, costing state ₹19,131 crore.
To fix this,coalition government rolled out reforms for more transparency and public benefit . Free sand policy stands out,delivering nearly two crore tonnes to Andhra Pradesh residents .
As for future,government ramps up exploration for gold,beach sand minerals,iron ore, manganese. Aims for 32% growth rate in mining. Ravindra announced gold finds in Anantapur and Chittoor districts.
