Arshad Warsi is gearing up for a huge year in 2026, with packed schedule of films and streaming series. The actor,known for his comedic chops and range,is returning to beloved franchises and teaming with top stars . His upcoming slate includes ensemble comedy Welcome to the Jungle, much-awaited Dhamaal 4,and web series Pritam And Pedro,plus Shah Rukh Khan's King. And Golmaal 5 is set for release in 2027.
In a recent interview,Warsi shared his excitement about this busy lineup of sequels and big-budget flicks. He acknowledged the film industry's unpredictability,joking that audiences will ultimately decide his projects' success. "Either it’s a good time or a bad time, that we will only know after the releases!" he quipped, capturing the industry's ups and downs.
Despite the thrill of multiple releases,Warsi admitted promotional work can be draining. "It’s tiring. I am not a fan of promotions at all; that’s my only hitch," he said . But he remains grateful to see his projects come to life, feeling a duty to the teams behind the scenes. "There is always a bit of fear because you work hard and want the film to do well—not just for yourself, but for everyone," he explained.
Warsi's dedication to colleagues shows, especially with Welcome to the Jungle. He wants success for director Ahmed Khan and producer Firoz Nadiadwala, noting pressures they face compared to actors juggling roles. "A director or producer works on one film at a time,while an actor is juggling multiple projects," he noted.
As he looks ahead, Warsi feels no competitive pressure. "The rest of us have already done our jobs and established who we are," he said confidently. "I’ve already proved myself; I don't need to prove to anyone that I can act." His confidence is bolstered by a lineup that promises to captivate audiences.
Leading the charge is Welcome to the Jungle, featuring a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani,and Jacqueline Fernandez. This theatrical release is directed by Ahmed Khan and expected to be a big draw at box office.
Following that,Pritam and Pedro will premiere on July 3, 2026, on JioHotstar. Directed by Avinash Arun and produced by Rajkumar Hirani, this series marks Hirani's entry into web space, featuring Warsi alongside Vir Hirani .
