The upcoming Bengaluru INDIA NANO 2026 conference is set to take place from August 3 to 5, 2026,at The Lalit hotel in Bengaluru. Organized by Department of Science and Technology of the Government of Karnataka, event will focus on the theme ‘Nanotech’s Next Frontier: AI and Beyond, Conceive, Converge,Commercialise.’
Jointly announced by Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) and the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS) in Tirupati,the conference aims to engage degree college students affiliated with SVU. The initiative seeks to raise awareness about the significance,applications,and future potential of nanoscience and nanotechnology .
During the announcement, SVU Vice-Chancellor Tata Narasinga Rao emphasized the importance of fostering scientific thinking among students. He encouraged them to develop an inquisitive mindset and a passion for research. This aligns with the university’s broader goal of promoting innovation and scientific inquiry.
Professor G.U. Kulkarni from the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research in Bengaluru spoke about the vast opportunities that nanoscience and nanotechnology present across various sectors. His insights underline relevance of these fields in addressing contemporary challenges.
G. Narasimha,SVU Professor and Dean of Research and Development, elaborated on the conference's objectives. He noted that the program will provide students with a platform to understand scientific concepts through a variety of engaging formats,including lectures, demonstrations,and interactive discussions. This hands-on approach is designed to enhance learning and stimulate interest in field .
The event will feature expert lectures,video presentations, and live demonstrations, all aimed at enriching the educational experience for attendees. By integrating practical applications with theoretical knowledge,the conference aspires to inspire the next generation of scientists and innovators.
