After U.S . sanctions hit,Changguang Satellite,a Chinese firm, revealed high-def shots of Nvidia and Apple HQs in Silicon Valley. The photos, put out on social media, came from the Jilin-1 satellite constellation. They show detailed aerial views of the tech campuses.
Images highlight sleek Nvidia buildings in Santa Clara and the spaceship-like Apple Park in Cupertino. Also included: red brick structures of Santa Clara University. A Changguang spokesperson called it “routine satellite news,” noting Jilin-1 images are publicly available.
Despite U.S. sanctions, which accuse the company of aiding Iran, Changguang keeps sharing satellite images. It's shown sites like iron mines in China,high-speed train stations, and even a Hawaiian volcanic crater . The firm sticks to its practice of providing satellite data…even amid geopolitical tensions.
