Dr. Radhakrishnan,Collector during the fire,was crucial to Jenifer's early education. He got her into school without fees,provided books and uniforms. This support pushed her toward becoming an IAS officer . "Once I met Dr . Radhakrishnan after fire tragedy, I decided to become an IAS officer," Jenifer recalled. "Having achieved this milestone 22 years later, I can truly appreciate the impact of his decisions."

Though she faces a long road—eligible for IAS recruitment in 13 years—Jenifer's committed to her goal. She'll keep prepping for UPSC civil services exam, aiming to take it next year. For now,she'll serve as Assistant Director in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department.

Jenifer's determination is clear; she's tried UPSC civil services exam seven times without success. "Dr. Radhakrishnan advised me to appear for UPSC civil services exam. I am determined to clear it next year, as I have two more attempts," she said. Her resilience got noticed widely,especially after her story hit social media following her meeting with Dr. Radhakrishnan.

Reflecting on their meeting,Dr. Radhakrishnan expressed pride in Jenifer's achievements. "It was a privilege to meet and wish Jenifer,whose life journey reflects extraordinary courage and determination," he said . The Kumbakonam school fire,which took 94 children, left a lasting impact on Tamil Nadu and him, as he saw aftermath soon after taking office.
