Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has told officials to draft master plans for Amaravati and Tirupati Economic Regions within six months. This came during review meeting on City Economic Regions development at Secretariat in Amaravati Monday.

Naidu stressed public engagement,wanting drafts shared with public and elected reps for feedback. He also wants District Economic Profiles done in two months to help Collectors plan based on local potential.

For Tirupati Economic Region (TER), Naidu sees horticulture as key. Food processing industries could boost Rayalaseema living standards. He also proposed international sporting events in Amaravati,Tirupati,and Visakhapatnam,suggesting sports cities with private partners.

On Vizag Bay City project,covering 51.88 sq km, Naidu pushed for attracting top companies. There's 3,291 acres of government land open for development. Officials reported on 49 projects in Visakhapatnam Economic Region (VER): 18 underway, 12 starting soon,19 in planning.
