Also, medium-range surface-to-air missile system approved to boost air defense. Plus very short-range air defense systems for aerial threat protection. Provisions include active protection for tanks,new jet-based kamikaze drones .
Maritime operations get new tools too. Multi Influence Ground Mines to secure waters,limit enemy moves. Naval Shipborne Unmanned Aerial Systems for better maritime reconnaissance. A Land Based Testing Facility for Electric Propulsion Systems will support future naval tech evolution.
Aerial sector scores with new Fixed-Wing High Altitude Pseudo Satellites (FW-HAPS). Enhances intelligence,surveillance, reconnaissance . Also boosts telecom and remote sensing . This asset to expand Indian Air Force's reach.
