On July 3, 2026,Chief Minister Rekha Gupta of Delhi rolled out new online platform to make it easier for electric vehicle (EV) owners to apply for financial help . This move aims to open up access for those eligible, who need to get their requests in soon after getting their vehicles and registration papers .
At Delhi Secretariat launch,Gupta stressed government's aim to get subsidies to people fast,with funds hitting bank accounts within two months. She called the new platform “user-friendly, efficient,and completely digital,” showing off a modern take on government services.
New platform isn't just for subsidy applications. It’s packed with info on eligibility, financial support for different EVs,and a list of approved models. Users can upload their Aadhaar,vehicle registration, and Voter ID safely on the site. Businesses get to enter GSTIN,PAN,and banking info there too.
Gupta, in her speech,asked for cooperation from car makers, dealerships,and other stakeholders to boost charging infrastructure in Delhi. She laid out bold plans for 32,000+ public charging stations by 2030, aiming for easy access citywide.
She also mentioned that by 2028, registering new two-wheel EVs will be mandatory in Delhi,a big step toward greener transport . Launch of this platform,plus a detailed policy guide, shows government’s drive to build cleaner,modern transit network.
