Dua Lipa turned heads with two striking bridal looks during recent wedding festivities, first in London, then Sicily. After a civil ceremony with actor Callum Turner on May 31,where she donned a custom Schiaparelli skirt suit, images emerged from their second ceremony. This time, a breathtaking Chanel gown stole show.
In Sicily,Lipa wore a backless custom Chanel Haute Couture gown designed by Matthieu Blazy. Blazy's first couture bridal design for a friend . Gown featured a long, fitted silhouette with high jeweled neckline and bare shoulders. Skirt hugged hips, flared below knee, creating trumpet shape with wispy feathers .
Details were everything. Gown had 480,000 hand-embroidered beads made by Atelier Montex. Trompe l’oeil jewel embroidery by Lesage took 1,155 hours of work . A two-meter train, underlined with 25,000 feathers from Lemarié,added grandeur . Lipa topped off look with six-meter tulle veil,hand-embroidered with beads and feathers, secured under feathered headpiece.
Her long dark hair slicked back, letting gown's open design shine. Turner matched her in classic black tuxedo with satin lapels, pleated white shirt, dark red boutonniere .
Contrast in London. Lipa's attire was modern bridal suiting. Sharp white Schiaparelli blazer, cinched with gold bijoux buttons, paired with midi skirt and wide-brimmed hat by Stephen Jones. White gloves, Christian Louboutin pumps, and Bulgari Serpenti necklace completed look . Nodded to Bianca Jagger's iconic 1971 wedding style but kept it fresh .
In Sicily,Lipa chose simpler shoes—custom white satin pumps by Massaro. A shift from her usual flashy footwear with towering platforms and crystal heels. Her bridal wardrobe journeyed from modern elegance in London to traditional opulence in Sicily…
