Egypt has rolled out a massive military headquarters,largest globally, with President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi making a rare appearance in full military gear. Octagon,spanning 90 square kilometers (34.7 square miles),rivals Lisbon, Portugal in size. It overtakes Pentagon as the world's biggest defense ministry building .
At the inauguration,el-Sisi spoke with pride, saying it shows “the will of a nation that knows nothing of the impossible.” He stood before eight buildings,each with an eight-sided design. Attack helicopters flew overhead,marking the event's importance.
