Ayush Malik is back to Hinduism . Relief for his father,Devaraj Malik. Family drama dragged on for months after Ayush's wife and her father got arrested in Shamli,Uttar Pradesh, over forced conversion claims .
Devaraj was grateful. "With grace and blessing of God,my son returned to Hinduism. I thank media for helping us." Relief was evident as family dealt with Ayush's conversion to Islam and now his return.
Social media video shows Ayush performing Hindu rituals, reaffirming commitment to Sanatan Dharma. He talks about family's distress: "I accepted Islam and changed religion. But seeing my parents' pain,I've returned to Hinduism. Want to live under family's care and protection. Please forgive me."
Devaraj confirmed Ayush's return was his own choice, family didn't force him. Arrests of Chandni Qureshi,a physiotherapist, and her father,Islam Qureshi, happened under Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act. Devaraj's complaint led to police action.
Ayush, with pharmacy degree, works at family medical store. Met Chandni in 2018 during leg injury treatment. Their relationship grew, leading to claims her family pressured him to convert. In 2023,Ayush went to Delhi, took name Mohammad Ali,had nikah ceremony. Police found no marriage certificate .
After converting,Ayush followed Islamic practices, daily prayers, appearance change. Devaraj claims conversion was part of plan to take family's property, worth crores of rupees.
