"Occasional consignments being turned away isn't unusual in trade," committee chairman said after a conference, noting similar issues with various products globally.
Recent talks highlighted need for higher export standards and exploring new markets. Chairman pointed out that heavy reliance on chemicals poses challenges for farmers trying to meet international specs,especially from China. He urged cutting down on chemicals, focusing on quality chillies .
