OKOsix is riding this wave. Founded in 2021 by materials scientist Eddie Yu,it started from a personal question about recycling face masks during Covid-19. Five years on,it's gaining ground in Western markets like Canada, Europe,and Australia. More growth ahead.
To bolster presence in mainland China,OKOsix set up regional headquarters at Hong Kong Science Park Shenzhen Branch in Futian district. Move secures supply chain access and taps vast market of world's second-largest economy. Yu said,“We’ve already got some sizeable orders and this will be our headquarters in China.” There's factory planned in Guangdong too.
OKOsix isn't alone. Many Hong Kong companies benefit from government's push to enhance integration in Greater Bay Area. Ambitious project aims to link Hong Kong, Macau,and nine Guangdong cities into major economic hub. Opportunities abound…but how will it all play out?
