Hoola Health, Bengaluru-based pediatric healthcare startup,just landed $5 million (around ₹47.6 crore) in funding led by Peak XV’s Surge. Existing backer W Health Ventures and several angel investors joined in, including Ashish Gupta of MFV Partners,Abhishek Goyal,co-founder of Tracxn, and Bijou Kurien,chairman of the Retail Association of India .
Founded 2024,Hoola Health, previously BabyMD, plans to use new cash to grow its clinic network in major Indian cities like Bengaluru,Hyderabad,and Delhi NCR. Right now, startup runs five clinics in Bengaluru, aiming to open 30 more in next two years. Part of bigger push to boost specialist services,tech infrastructure, and support systems for parents.
The startup provides wide range of pediatric services: consultations,vaccinations, diagnostics, developmental assessments, therapies, and specialist care. Also eyeing move into pediatric dentistry. Clinics designed for kids, with play zones and therapy spaces to make them feel welcome.
Besides physical clinics, Hoola Health runs digital platform helping parents manage kids' healthcare. Includes features for tracking vaccination records, monitoring growth, managing digital prescriptions, and lifelong health records. Says it has served over 20,000 families in past 18 months.
Funding comes as more startups focus on specialized products and services for kids. New parents are more aware of children's health, and companies are stepping up. OZi, a Delhi NCR-based baby care quick commerce platform,recently raised $3.3 million for baby products, promising delivery in 30 minutes . Kidbea,a sustainable kidswear brand, secured ₹30 crore in Series A to expand retail presence widely in India .
