In wake of yet another violent round, overnight airstrikes by Israeli forces in Gaza have killed at least five people. Among them,a father and his two daughters. Strikes hit a residential building in a densely packed area, leading to more casualties, including the children's mother, who died from her injuries later.
Eyewitnesses say residents got no warning of attacks, adding to already deep sense of hopelessness there. Al Jazeera's Tareq Abuo Azzum described the scene as a "grim reality that's growing day in,day out." Hostilities continue despite a U.S.-mediated ceasefire in October.
Since that ceasefire, over 1,000 have died in Gaza, with injuries passing 3,165. Relentless violence not only devastates civilians but also causes major displacement . A recent strike hurt five who sought refuge in a makeshift tent in Khan Younis.
Same day, heavy gunfire reported from Israeli naval forces along southern Gaza coast, adding to tensions. Humanitarian crisis severe, affecting ~2.2 million needing urgent aid. Israeli restrictions on essentials like food and medical supplies worsen the situation.
Conflict leaves families and communities traumatized, violence dragging on. Global attention and concern grow,but...what next for Gaza's residents?
