Big boost for local jobs Friday as Jindal Steel Works (JSW) industrial park was virtually inaugurated by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. From Jammalamadugu in Kadapa district,project launch set to create 45,000 jobs over next two years in Vizianagaram.

At inauguration,Kondapalli Srinivas,Minister for MSME and NRI Affairs,stressed park's potential to turn S. Kota constituency into major industrial hub . Said it would draw entrepreneurs and bring back former residents,spurred by projects like international airport at Bhogapuram.

Spanning 1,160 acres,industrial park developed with ₹531 crore investment. Srinivas likened it to Sri City,noted hub in Tirupati,pointing to its capacity to drive growth in North Andhra.

Vangalapudi Anitha,Minister for Home,echoed Chief Minister's pledge for North Andhra's development. She was optimistic park would spark economic activity,creating many jobs for locals.
