Kalaburagi Airport set to restart regular flights Wednesday,with daily trips linking the city to Bengaluru. Airport Director Kishore Killampalli announced it Monday at a press conference .

After recent upgrades and getting regulatory nods,airport ready for commercial flights . The daily service runs Bengaluru-Kalaburagi-Bengaluru. First flight leaves Bengaluru at 6:30 a.m.,reaches Kalaburagi at 7:40 a.m. Return flight departs at 8:10 a.m.,lands in Bengaluru by 9:20 a.m. Aimed at offering convenient morning travel both ways.

Star Air will use its Embraer E175 aircraft,76 seats designed for regional hops. Killampalli mentioned Directorate-General of Civil Aviation team did a detailed inspection and safety check 15 days ago,clearing it for safe operations.
