KL Deemed to be University in Vijayawada has entered into a partnership with the renowned civil services coaching institute Vajiram & Ravi IAS,aiming to enhance the educational prospects of its students. This collaboration, announced on Friday, will provide integrated coaching for the UPSC examinations starting this academic year.
Vice-Chancellor G. Parthasaradhi Varma emphasized the significance of this initiative during a media conference,stating that the coaching program is tailored for students enrolled in university's B.A. program, specifically those in IAS orientation course . The agreement allows Vajiram & Ravi to conduct civil services coaching directly on university campus,ensuring students have access to updated study materials.
The coaching will encompass training for both the preliminary and mains examinations, allowing students to prepare for these competitive tests while pursuing their undergraduate degrees . This integrated approach is designed to streamline educational experience, enabling students to complete the UPSC syllabus alongside their graduation requirements .
Students will benefit from a range of resources,including offline and online classes, a dedicated digital learning portal,recorded lectures,subject-wise tests, and comprehensive test series. Additionally, mentorship will be provided by faculty from Vajiram & Ravi,further enhancing the learning experience.
Importantly, students enrolled in B.A.-IAS orientation program will not incur any extra fees for this coaching, making it an accessible option for those aspiring to enter civil services. This initiative reflects a growing trend in Indian higher education, where universities are increasingly collaborating with specialized coaching institutes to offer students a competitive edge.
