Prime Video gears up to launch its first-ever daily reality series,Alliance,on June 26, hosted by actor Kunal Kemmu. The show promises high-stakes drama where trust is both a weapon and a vulnerability, pushing contestants to juggle tricky relationships while competing for survival.
Trailer for Alliance dropped Tuesday,revealing a mix of strategy,deception,and shifting loyalties. Produced by Banijay Asia, series is a big move for Prime Video,aiming to hook audiences daily with new episodes at noon. Over six weeks,42 episodes will stream in more than 240 countries.
Within a luxurious yet intense underground facility, Alliance features 16 contestants entering as pairs. These pairs include familiar faces like the father-daughter duo Ravi Kishan and Riva Kishan, and other notable pairs like Kushal Tandon and Arsalan Goni. Contestants will tackle various challenges,from physical tasks to brain games, all while dodging manipulative tactics of “The System,” which dictates the game’s twists and eliminations.
Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals at Prime Video India,described Alliance as a unique format for Indian audiences . He noted the show’s evolving gameplay keeps viewers hooked. Kemmu,making his debut as a reality show host,expressed excitement about the unique challenges contestants face,which go beyond physical endurance.
“It’s about navigating relationships,making tough choices, and adapting when the game changes around you,” Kemmu stated,reflecting on the competition's complexities.
