Recent lecture at Tirupati regional centre of Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) spotlighted unpublished manuscript Vishnu Tattva Samhita. Part of ‘Vaishnava Agama’ series,event featured insights from P.T.G.Y. Sampath Kumaracharyulu, retired senior professor of Nyaya at National Sanskrit University (NSU).
Kumaracharyulu stressed manuscript's importance in Pancharatra tradition, discussing its doctrinal roots,philosophical insights . He argued critical study,preservation of text are crucial for advancing contemporary research in Agamic literature. Lecture aimed to illuminate manuscript's role in understanding Vaishnava Agama.
As chief guest, Radhakant Thakur, former Vice-Chancellor of NSU,highlighted value of traditional knowledge systems. He praised IGNCA,NSU for fostering research,raising awareness about Vaishnava Agama literature. Thakur's remarks emphasized need for ongoing exploration of these ancient texts.
