Tamil superstar Rajinikanth gears up for new film Dharman. Announced Tuesday during pooja ceremony in Chennai,film switches directors. Ashwath Marimuthu,who helmed Oh My Kadavule and Dragon,takes over from Cibi Chakaravarthi.

Storyline's still under wraps. But Rajinikanth's no stranger to "Dharma" titles like Dharma Durai (1991) and Dharmathin Thalaivan (1988). Cast includes Simran, Raashi Khanna,and Yogi Babu. Music by Anirudh Ravichander,cinematography by Niketh Bommi,editing by Pradeep E Ragav.
Rajinikanth spoke about directorial changes,noting project's bumpy ride. “Originally, KS Ravikumar was set to direct. But that fell through,then Sundar C joined. He left due to other commitments,” he said. “Then we had Cibi Chakaravarthy. I liked Cibi’s story,but it was sensitive . About nuclear scientist; needed filming in Afghanistan and Russia. Too time-consuming,so we couldn't proceed. Then we got Ashwath Marimuthu.”
Once dubbed Thalaivar 173,film's had many changes since last year’s announcement. Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan also teaming up for another project with Nelson. Industry partnership strong…
