Faced with less rain, the minister stressed stable drinking water as priority. ₹4.5 crore has been released for new borewells and refreshing old ones,plus ₹1 crore per Assembly constituency for more support.

Tourism is a big focus. Visitor numbers are climbing, and the government plans a Greater Mysuru City Corporation by merging the city municipal council with nearby town and gram panchayats. A preliminary notification is out,with a full plan in works.

Healthcare's getting a lift too. New plans for Kidwai Memorial Hospital and NIMHANS-like institute in Mysuru. city's been doing well on cleanliness,grabbing the third Swachh Survekshan award in 2025 . Under the 80th Independence Day Swachhata Abhiyan-2026, 80 garbage-prone areas are turning into clean public spaces .

The Shakti scheme has given out 49.56 crore free bus tickets to women in the past three years, costing ₹1,300 crore. Anna Bhagya scheme aids 678,796 families with BPL and Antyodaya cards,offering over 2.2 million people 10 kg of rice each from fair-price shops .

Women's education is a focus,with a new hostel at Maharani’s Women’s Science College costing ₹170 crore. It will house 1,400 students. Siddaramaiah confirmed the government's dedication to development, farmers' welfare, and public services, with more projects on the horizon .

With Dasara coming up, he expressed hopes for meaningful celebrations and sought blessings from Goddess Chamundeshwari for Karnataka. Earlier,Siddaramaiah reviewed a guard of honor and watched 22 platoons march. Schoolkids performed cultural shows. Silver medals went to KSRTC drivers for accident-free service, including 12 from urban and nine from rural divisions, underlining public transport safety .
