Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) in Tirupati cut ribbon on new Idea Lab and Studio Room Wednesday, June 17, 2026,aimed at boosting innovation among startups. Tirupati District Collector S. Venkateswar did honors,joined by Revenue Divisional Officer Bhanuprakash Reddy from Srikalahasti.
Venkateswar checked out startups backed by RTIH, looking at innovative tech. Projects included an AI portable device for diagnosing strabismus,called Squint Sense, and an AI hand rehab glove for post-stroke recovery. Also showcased: Infra Robot for cleaning and monitoring underground drains, and UniHub, platform speeding up hardware innovation.
He urged entrepreneurs to use emerging tech, especially drones, to tackle real challenges. Vijayawanth Mathur, CEO of RTIH, said Idea Lab will help with ideation,design thinking, and prototypes. And Studio Room? A spot for podcasts, startup interviews,digital content.
D. Pragathi, RTIH head of incubation,stressed importance of giving innovators access to key infrastructure and mentorship to push projects forward.
