On Monday, June 1, students across Kerala will participate in a cyber safety pledge as schools reopen. This initiative is part of the Kid Glove project, spearheaded by the Kerala Police Cyber Wing, aimed at educating young minds about the dangers of the digital landscape.
The program addresses crucial topics such as safe use of digital platforms,protection against cyber threats,and the risks linked to online gaming. Additionally,it emphasizes the importance of recognizing fake news,safeguarding privacy,and managing digital addiction. Students will also learn about cyber hygiene and responsible behavior on social media.
To support this initiative,the police will collaborate with the General Education Department to provide essential cyber safety training for both teachers and parents. This training will be complemented by engaging activities, including quizzes designed to reinforce the lessons learned.
