As NEET-UG re-examination nears, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan held a meeting June 15, 2026, to check State governments' readiness . They focused on student convenience, security,and keeping exam process clean,said Union Home Ministry. Exam is set for June 21 after nationwide paper leak forced cancellation .
Key officials showed up, including Railway Board Chairman and secretaries from School Education,Higher Education,and Posts. Plus,directors general from CRPF,CISF, and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security. Mohan stressed all State governments and Central agencies must follow security protocols for smooth exam .
Indian Air Force (IAF) will fly question papers to 18 spots across country to keep them safe. CRPF and CISF personnel assigned to guard these materials on way to exam centers. An official said these steps are vital to protect NEET-UG's integrity.
CRPF issued internal directive June 12,telling units to deploy personnel and assign nodal officers for NEET-2026 material transport. Commandants reminded only those with clean records should be on task . And no family members of personnel can take the NEET exam.
