Despite turmoil,Biswas claimed FCTWEI protected technicians' interests. But many in industry believe he did more harm. Actor Aritra Dutta Banik noted that while Biswas aided daily wage technicians during pandemic,his alleged misconduct overshadowed good deeds .

As events unfold,prominent BJP leader Dilip Ghosh urged others to share stories of oppression under Biswas. He called on the silent to speak about power misuse in industry.

Biswas remains in police custody,accused of extorting around ₹22 lakh,using threats to control industry. Makeup artist accused him of demanding sexual favors for work . FCTWEI has yet to comment.
