Workers started stripping President Donald Trump’s name from Kennedy Centre facade early Saturday, sticking to court-ordered deadline to erase all traces of him from venue. This came after judge tossed out request from board linked to Trump allies to delay process .
Friday saw scaffolding go up around building section with Trump’s name. Just past midnight, Kennedy Centre asked to push deadline to noon Eastern Time. Thunderstorms hit Washington area,slowing efforts. In filing,Centre told court “removal work is presently ongoing” and aimed to finish in early hours.
